A homemaker and resident of Denham Springs, she died at 3:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 85 and a native of Reserve. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and in the chapel from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Billie Kennedy. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by three daughters, Irma Cleveland, Denham Springs, Mrs. Charles (Janice) Wynn, Gonzales, and Mrs. Darrell (Mae Theresa) Bagley, Denham Springs; two sons, Wallace P. Simon Sr., Zachary, and Robert P. "Bob" Simon Sr., Springfield; a sister, Annebelle Bonano, Charlotte, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Ester Dupre, Folsom; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband, Wallace J. Simon; a grandson, Wendell J. Simon; parents, Sidney and Honora Dupre; two brothers, Ivan Dupre and Sidney Dupre; and two sisters, Minta Jacob and Nelda Maus. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
