Helen A. Cooper, 90, of Big Stone Gap, passed away, Sunday (December 12, 2004) at Wexford House in Kingsport, Tenn., after a period of declining health.
She lived most of her life in Big Stone Gap and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Eugene Cooper; one son, US Army Capt. Russell E. Cooper; one grandson, Michael Cooper; and her parents, Thomas W. and Nora D. (Jones) Stitt.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1PM Wednesday at Powell Valley Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bobby Hamilton officiating.
