In 1940 they lived in Omaha where Everett worked in the family business of George A. Steinheimer Co., Contractor: painting and decorating business.
In 1944, they are both listed on the Los Angeles County, California Voter Registration Rolls. Everett was working in Burbank at the North American Aviation Company.
They moved back to Omaha for a short time in 1945, where Agnes died in a local hospital.
In 1946 Everett returned to Los Angeles. He remarried in 1952 to Reva L Sheldon.
