Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital – J.M.P wing on Friday November 13, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Hargrave. Loving mother of Martha Ross of Westmount, Quebec. Much loved grandmother of Douglas (Gillian), Katie, and Bruce. Predeceased by her parents George and Lorena (Kennedy) Tait. In keeping with Lyall's wishes there will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Lyall donated much of her time to volunteering with the Cornwall Chapter of the O.S.P.C.A and Cornwall General Hospital. If so desired contributions in her memory to the O.S.P.C.A Cornwall Chapter would be appreciated by the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
