Mr. Amerson was a native and life long resident of Wilkinson County; He was the son of the late Holmes Johnson Amerson, Sr. and the late Nellie Wood Amerson. He retired from Engelhard as a warehouse supervisor. Mr. Amerson loved hunting fishing and sports and was a member of Ivey Baptist Church. Mr. Amerson was predeceased by sisters, Betty Phillips and Beverly Kitchens and a brother, Holmes Amerson, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wood Amerson of Ivey, Daughter, Sue Amerson of Ivey, Sons, Wayne (Christie) Amerson of McIntyre and Rodney (Melissa) Amerson of Ivey, Sisters, Barbara (Van) Smedley, and Brenda Crutchfield of Macon, Patricia Rickerson of Gordon, Brothers, Grady Malcom (Jo) Amerson of Atlanta and Ronnie Amerson of Gordon. 4 Grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren
