Capt. Dan Overton, passed away very peacefully and sweetly on Sunday morning last at his home here in Reedville. After being helpless from paralysis for several years, he was about six months in bed, with his wife a faithful and devoted nurse. He is survived by his wife, Daughter, Mrs. Louise Ames, Three sons, Clifford, Frank and Lester Overton, also four brothers, Joe, Willis, Wallace and Charles Overton.
