SAMUEL CHRISTIAN GOENS, age 72, of Norfolk, Virginia, formerly of Roanoke, died Monday in a Norfolk hospital. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church of Norfolk and a retired employee of Peoples Drug Stores.
Surviving are his wife, Audrey Virginia Peters Goens, Norfolk; one daughter, Norfolk; sister, Julia Bryant; brother, Cyril J. Goens, both of Roanoke.
Funeral Mass will be 11:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Andrews Catholic Church.
