Born in Snow Hill Md, to Adial Parker Barnes and Elizabeth Barton Glenn Barnes. She had three brothers Archibald Earle Barnes, Olin Beall Barnes, Sr and James Adial Barnes. Was married but divorced Kenneth Fabian Davis and they had one son Kenneth Glenn Davis.
She was a proud member of the Eastern Star and also of the DAR.
Her great grandfather was James Glenn that fought in the Continential Army and grandfather James William Glenn which faught in the Civil War
