OBITUARY

Mrs. Andrew Hesler

Margaret Campbell was born March 31, 1860 in the town of Westfield and died at her home in Adams from appoplexy, on July 23, 1925.

Her mother died when she was about two years of age leaving a family of eight children. In the winter of 1873 two sisters, Rozella and Anna, died with smallpox. Her father died in January 1910 and her brother, Newton Campbell, died June 8, 1921.

Her girlhood was spent at the farm home at Lawrence and on October 22, 1882 she was married to Andrew Hesler and they made their home on a farm in the town of Lincoln, Adams County where they lived for 22 years and then they moved to Friendship and later to Adams where she passed away suddenly.

Surviving members are her husband, Andrew Hesler; daughter Laura Riley of Oxford; and sisters Mrs. E. Chesbro of Coloma, Mrs. Jas. Long, Mrs. August Miller, and one brother, Alfred Campbell all of Westfield.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Riley of Oxford and interment was made in the Oxford cemetery. Rev. G.H. Scheible, pastor of the Evangelical church of Westfield conducted the services.

The relatives away that attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. E. Chesbro of Coloma, Mrs. Jas. Long, Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Miller and daughter, Mrs. Newton Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Sarb, Mr. Alfred Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller, and Mr. Sam Dewar all from Westfield; Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Martin of Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Laing of Packwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. M.R. Lewis, daughter Miss Tressa, and son Leonard of Adams; Mr. and Mrs. John Hesler and George M. Hesler and son of Grand Marsh.
