William "Bill" Eblin
COSHOCTON - William "Bill" Pershing Eblin, 89, of Coshocton, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at his residence. He was born May 3, 1918, in Eureka, to the late Will and Ethel Lanthorn Eblin.
Before retiring, he was employed with the State Hospital, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was married to Velva Eblin, who preceded him in death in April 2007.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Helmick and Julie (Mark) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Michael Helmick and Dylan Helmick; sisters, Margaret Shoemaker and Catherine Little; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, Glory.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lando.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, at Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, where Coshocton County Veterans Council will conduct graveside military services.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
