Thomas M. Aimar Jr.

Thomas M. Aimar Jr., 75, died Nov. 11 at Tara at Thunderbolt.

He was born in Chatham County and was a lifelong resident of Savannah. He served as a combat infantryman in the Army during World War II. He retired after 30 years as a manager with Kaiser Agriculture Chemicals. He was an elder at John Knox Presbyterian Church and superintendent of the Sunday school. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Bacon Park Golf Club.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Doris Johnson Aimar of Savannah; a son, Thomas M. Aimar III of Texas; a brother and sister-in-law, E. Paul and Ann Aimar of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. today at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Memorial.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, burial in Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
