Joseph F. "Joe" Rossano, age 90, of Bridgeport, passed away January 27th 2012 at United Hospital Center after an extended illness.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Mary Marra Rossano.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Angela M. Scalise Rossano, whom he married October 3rd, 1948. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his brother, Ernie Rossano; 3 sisters-in law, Mary Rossano, Frances Rossano and Betty Rossano and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, John Rossano, Louie Rossano, Pat Rossano and Junior Rossano. Also preceding him were 3 sisters, Jenny Medina, Rose Cupparie and Frances Moore.
Mr. Rossano was a supervisor in food service for Sequoia Hospital in California before returning to Clarksburg. He liked to hunt, loved West Virginia football and basketball. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, and friends.
Friends and family may call on the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive/Rt 98 Clarksburg, Tuesday January 31st from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Catholic Burial Rites will be held Wednesday February 1st at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Father Harry Cramer officiating. Entombment will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
