FARMLAND, Ind.—Mildred E. Lindsay, 91, formerly of 308 N. Main St., died Wednesday [February 21] in Chrystal's Country Home, Parker City.
She had lived in Randolph County 60 years, coming here from Laurel. Mrs. Lindsay farmed in Green Township 20 years. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, Farmland Senior Citizen's Club and the Retirees' Club of Anchor Hocking, Winchester.
Surviving are a daughter, Leona (Mrs. George) Oswald, Solona Beach, Calif.; a son, Kenneth Lindsay, Losantville; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lindsay, in 1943, and a sister, Zatha Hoople, in 1986.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Miller Mortuary…. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, near Farmland….
