Frank Andrew Best, 90, of Corydon, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon. He was born April 23, 1921, in Floyds Knobs, to the late John Odell and Jennie Eva Wheeler Best.
He was a retired CPA having worked at several U.S. government agencies, was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 in Corydon and was a navy veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Ann Erickson Best.
Survivors include his son, Gregory Dale Best of Fairfax, Virginia; his daughter, Ellen Best Edwards of Palmyra, Virginia; his sister, Dorothy Jane Bailey of Valparaiso, Indiana; 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
