When Otto William Schultz was born on April 9, 1890, in Stolp, Germany, his father, Edward, was 29 and his mother, Minna, was 29. He married Mary T. Lackas in 1918 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They had two children during their marriage Edward and Mary. The two children were killed by the mother she shot them while the father went to a farming auction before he left that day his wife told him don't be long. When my Great Uncle returned home that evening he found his wife on the floor and his two children on the sofa in the living room. The kids were both shot with a shotgun the wife hit herself in the face with a hatchet. She was admitted to Byberry hospital.
He died on July 4, 1938, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the age of 48, and was buried in Bustleton, Pennsylvania.
