Obituary:

Bernice B. Cole Enos died Sunday, December 19, 2004 at Alton Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 29, 1916 in Robertsville, Mo., the daughter of Luretta Bay and Elmer Cole.

She married Clifford D. Enos May 27, 1934, in Edwardsville.

Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Shirley M. and Ralph Irvin of Springfield, Ill.; a son, Clifford R. Enos of Alton; four grandchildren, R. David Irvin, Sheila M. Grooms, and Jason and Kevin Enos; six great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Ryan Irvin, Amanda S., Sean and Katrina Grooms and Emily Enos; and a brother, Harold Cole of Godfrey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and six brothers and sisters.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hillcrest Apartments Community Room. The Rev. David Burman will officiate.

Burial will be at Upper Alton Cemetery.
