Anne H. Gorham, 100 Worked in bookstore; summered in Harwich Port
WESTBOROUGH - Anne H. (Hartshorne) Gorham, 100, formerly of Wellesley, died Tuesday.
She was the wife of Arthur N. Gorham, who died in 1957.
Mrs. Gorham was born in Colts Neck, N.J.
She graduated from Simmons College in Boston and was a social worker before marrying.
After her husband's death, she worked for the former Hathaway Book Store of Wellesley for many years.
She summered in Harwich Port with family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Harvey of Topsfield; two sons, William Gorham of Harwich Port and Jupiter, Fla., and Arthur N. Gorham Jr. of Medfield; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Benjamin K. Gorham.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Episcopal Church of the Advent, Pleasant Street, Medfield.
Private burial is in South Harwich Cemetery.
