Virginia Lee Brawley, 24, of 813 Red Oak Street, died Monday at her home after an extended illness.
She was a graduate of Charleston High School, attended West Virginia University and was a graduate of Morris Harvey college.
She was a teacher at Center College, was a member of Bream Memorial Presbyterian Church, and taught Sunday school in Lord Calvert Chapter, NSU Daughters of 1912.
Surviving: husband, Gary Robert Brawley; daughter, Michelle Brawley at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert O. Alexander of Harvey, Louisiana; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Alexander of Millersport, Ohio.
Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bream Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. J. G. Parks officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston.
