“Jennie F. Lewis Former Teacher
Jennie F. Lewis, 89, died Friday in Miami, Fla., following a long illness.

She was born June 16, 1873, in Wooster and taught for many years in Wayne County schools. She was the widow of Rev. J. F. Lewis, former Methodist minister. They served in several churches in Ohio. She was a member of Orrville Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Paul, and two grandchildren, all of Miami, Fla.

Services will be Tuesday at the Snyder Funeral Home in Butler at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery.”

Jennie F. Lewis, 89, widow of Rev. J. F. Lewis, former minister of the Orrville Methodist Church, died Friday in Miami, Fla., following a long illness.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Wooster and taught for many years in the Wayne County schools. She made her home with Mrs. Cora Shantz of Orrville, but recently moved to Florida to make her home with her son, Paul.

She was a member of the Orrville Methodist Church.

Services were held Tuesday at the Snyder Funeral Home in Butler, conducted by Rev. Paul Carter and Rev. Paul Bailey. Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.”
