Mr. Jessie Edwards Sr., 76, of Toledo, OH, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009, in The Toledo Hospital.
He was a member of the Indiana Avenue Missionary Baptist church.
Jessie was a porter for 13 years for Kistler Ford and also worker for Will Dennis Chevrolet and Weisenberger Chevrolet, retiring in 1994.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Geneva Edwards; sons, Jessie Jr., Leroy, and Fredrick S. Edwards; daughters, Martha (Jerry) Sanders, Cora (Sylvester) Jones, Della Rainey, and Carolyn D. Edwards; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Marion Jr. and James (Mary) Edwards; sister, Betty Hicks of Marion, AL; and a host of other loving relatives and kind friends.
