Mr. Keith Arlo Shiflett, age 60 of Griffin passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Spalding Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Shiflett was born December 28, 1948 in Griffin to Lucille Vickers-Shiflett and the late Newton Shiflett. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 – 1971. Through his life he served many positions in the church. Mr. Shiflett attended Family Worship Center where he was a Sunday School teacher, Bass player, deacon and sang with his wife for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shiflett was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Shiflett and father-in-law, Hugh Bowling Crews, Sr.

Mr. Shiflett is survived by his wife of 41 years, "Connie" Constance Gail Crews Shiflett; son & daughter-in-law, Bradley Keith & Tammy Shiflett; son, Trent Arlo Shiflett; two grandchildren, Dylan Keith Shiflett and Brianna Nicole Shiflett; brothers & sisters, Reginald & Nancy Shiflett, Sondra Branan and Mike & Shannon Shiflett; sister-in-law, Carolyn Wingo; mother, Lucille Shiflett and mother-in-law, Mary B. Crews.

Funeral services for Mr. Keith Arlo Shiflett will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Don Sansbury, Rev. Billy Anderson and Rev. Gene Luke will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 6 – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
