Mrs. Catherine Lashomb Raymo, 84, died at the home of her son, Hubert Raymo, Maple Ridge, town of Brasher, at 7:00 o'clock Monday evening, following an illness of only two or three days. She was criticially ill only a few hours.
Mrs. Raymo spent all her life in the town of Brasher with the exception of three years when she lived in Massena. She was born at Maple Ridge 84 years ago and was a daughter of Peter and Sophia Norrow Lashomb. She grew to young womanhood and 67 years ago married Joseph Raymo. They resided on the farm until he died 31 years ago and since that time Mrs. Raymo has been living with her son. She was a member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are four sons, Freeman J., of Norwood, Peter, Andrews street, Massena, Thomas, of Brasher, and Hubert, Maple Ridge; two daughters, Mrs. Amos Prashaw, Main street and Mrs. George Small, East Orives street, Massena; two brothers, Louis Lashomb, Parishville, and Frank Lashomb, Brasher.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at Sacred Heart church and burial will be made in Calvary cemetery.
