Doris J. Barnsfather, 69, of Joann Drive died at 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Barnsfather retired from Interstate Brands Corp. where she was a utility worker. She attended Columbus Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Inlow & Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Bill Bailey officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Born in Columbus Aug. 23, 1934, Mrs. Barnsfather was the daughter of Harley J. and Mable I. Howard Ayers. She married Robert Parks.
Survivors include sons, Rick Barnsfather of Hope and Jerry Barnsfather of Delphi; daughters, Vickie Swartzbaugh of Dayton, Ohio, and Teresa Luttrell of North Vernon; a brother, Harold Ayers of Edinburgh; sisters, Edna Mullis, Martha Menges and Linda Holley, all of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1987; and four brothers.
