Ref: Manchester Press, 21 Apr. 1992 -- Delbert C. Grapes, 63, of LaCrosse, WI died Tuesday, Apr. 14, 1992 at Lutheran Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church by Rev. Vernon J. Rice, a private burial will take place at a later date.

He was born March 3, 1929 in Delhi to Thomas and Mary (Eggiman) Grapes.

He married Helen D. Faas on Feb. 7, 1959 in Winona, MN.

He was a member of the LaCrosse Eagles Aerie 1254 and Trane Lodge 21. He had worked at Trane Company of LaCrosse for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Renee) Lieder, Mrs. David (Rayone) Moyer and Mrs. Timothy (Roseanne) Craig, all of LaCrosse and Todd of Madison, WI; 10 grandchildren; five sisters, Mildred Gaddie of Longwood, FL; Hazel Knott of Cedar Rapids; Bernita Gray of Monticello; Letha Bacon of Hopkinton; and Mrs. Iver (Eileen) Anderson of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Wilma Harbach and two brothers, Hubert and Robert.

The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, LaCrosse, WI, was in charge of the arrangements.
