HANCOCK, Md. – Lilly May Bishop Coffman, 80, of 139 Fulton St., here, died Sunday at the Washington County Hospital.
Born in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Denton and Ellen Lucretia Hess Bishop.
She is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Ethel Wink, Mrs. Martha Stanley and Mrs. Mary O'Rourke, all of Hancock; Mrs. Edna Hixon of Rt. 1, Mrs. Elda Mellot of Star Route and Doris Coffman at home; three sons, Charles E Coffman of Rt. 1, Wilson Coffman and Ercel Coffman, both of Hancock; and 35 grandchildren and 66 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. fromt St. Thomas Episcopal Church. The Rev. Father Shelby Walthal will officiate.
Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home in Hancock this evening from 7 to 9.
