Anna Bauman
Anna M. Dowler Bauman, 89, a resident of Cedar Grove Personal Care for the past several months where she loved participating in the activities there, went to be with the Lord, April 23, 2002, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 27, 1912, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Adam Odell Fieck and Myrtle L. Wilson Fieck Starr. She was a member of the North End Church of Christ, AARP and Senior Citizens in Vienna.

She is survived by one sister, Freda M. Shields; one brother, Albert E. Starr and his wife, Shirley; and though she had no children she considered her nieces and nephews her own children, Kay Reese and her husband, Ed, Pat Peppler and her husband, John, Mick Jeffries; and several great-nieces and nephews who she considered her own grandchildren. She was a special lady and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Everett E. Dowler; her second husband, Everett E. Bauman; three brothers, Glen L., Harold Odell and "Sam" Clarence W. Fieck.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Evangelist Eddie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at the Rockland Cemetery, Belpre. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
