Born in Anderson County, he was the husband of the late Emmie Flynn Bryant, and was a son of the late Dee and Mattie Lollis Bryant.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, he later retired from Associated Transport Co. He was a member of Teamsters Local 28 and the Retirees Association, and was a lifetime member of The American Legion. His church membership was at Judson Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Wilson, and husband, David, of Dacusville; a son, Henry D. Bryant, and wife, Rhetta, of Greenville; a sister, Lucille Davis, of Pelzer; a brother, Homer Bryant, of Greenville; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bryant was predeceased by a brother, Ray V. Bryant, who died Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2002; and also a sister, Mildred Godby.
Funeral service: Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation: 12 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service, Saturday, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
