Funeral Set Monday For Meda E. Barrow
BURLINGTON — Funeral services for Mrs. Meda E. Barrow will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hulbush Funeral Home Burlington with burial to follow at Mount Vernon IOOF Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at the age of 81 in a Mount Vernon rest home where she lived since her return from California last July. Previously she had lived in Mount Vernon and on Samish Island. After her husband died in 1953, she moved to California: She served as deputy postmaster in LaConner, was a member of Mount Vernon First Methodist Church and Chapter 50 Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Bowers of Edmonton, Albta.; a son, Walter C. Barrow, Jr. of Kodiak, Alaska; five grandchildren and a brother, Will B. Ellis of Mount Vernon.
