Mrs. Brown died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 1986, in Memorial Hospital in Chester.
She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Ava.
She was born Aug. 4, 1905, in Jacob, to Albert and Dell Whelchel Glodo.
She married Harry T. Brown, who preceded her in death Aug. 9, 1968.
Survivors include two sons, Harry L. and Jack E. Brown, both of Ava; four daughters, Kathleen Moore, Carterville, Joan Cheatham, Geraldine Holcomb and Betty Claussen, all of Ava; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Glodo, Chester; and one sister, Rosilea Kerr, Decatur.
Two sons, three grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.
