Bertha lived on Pine St. in the Village of Portville, NY and passed away after a long illness. At the time of her death she was survived by a son, Arthur R. Sikes of Portville; Two daughters, Mrs. Irwin (Olive) Probert of Farmers Valley, PA and Mrs. Albert (Gladys) Scheiterle of Ferndale, WA; Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Guenther Funeral Home in Portville on August 18, 1966.
