LAMAR COUNTY ECHO Thu., Oct. 30, 1980. 'Mrs. Angie L. Brown, 85, of Arthur City, died Oct. 19, in a Paris hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at Oak Hill Baptist Church in Arthur City with the Rev. A.M. Seamon, pastor of Olive Branch Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Oak HIll Cemetery under the direction of Maxey Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown was born in Lamar County on Aug. 2, 1895, daughter of Frank Walton and Nary Moore Walton. She attended F.I.S. College in Wolfe City and was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a member of Heroine Jerico Golden Star Court No. 116. Survivors include three sons, Olee Brown on Oakland, CA., M.W. Brown and Frank Brown,both of Dallas; four daughters, Mrs. Modesta Francis of Ft. Worth, Margaret Brown, Mrs. Sadie White and Mrs. Gertrude Webb, all of Arthur City; one brother, the Rev. T.E. Walton of Arthur City; one sister, Mrs. Katie Lou McGee of El Centro, CA.; one aunt, Mrs. Nancy Young of Ardmore, OK.; 27 grandchildren and one great great grandchild.'
