OBITUARY :
JOHN C. WRENSHALL, aged 92, father of John C. Wrenshall, Jr., a former resident of Hagerstown, died January 17 at his home in Torquay, England, of the infirmities of age.

Mr. Wrenshall was a civil engineer and served in the Confederate army as a captain, being attached to the staff of Gen. Bragg and also under Gen. Joseph Wheeler. After the war he had charge of the restoration of railroad bridges destroyed by the two armies.

He was a resident of Baltimore for a number of years and at the outbreak of the World War became a resident of England.

He is survived by his son, who is a resident of Reading, Pa., and a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Wrenshall Markland.
