Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army in Company G, 8th U.S. Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on October 20, 1869 at Chiricahua Mountains, Arizona. His citation reads "Gallantry in action." (bio by: Don Morfe)
