"Helen Nanny Sargent, 91, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011, in Granbury. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Tolar. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

"Mrs. Sargent was born Sept. 12, 1920, in Goldthwaite, to Wallace and Vinnie Sullivan Geddes. She had lived in Tolar since 1941 and was a member of Tolar Baptist Church. She loved to cook, sew and attending music concerts. She was a member of the home demonstration club.

"Preceding her in death were her parents, two husbands, Bennie Thomas Nanny and Howard B. Sargent, two brothers and a sister.

"Survivors: Sons, Ralph Nanny and wife, Vera, of Tolar, Dwight L. Nanny and wife, Terrye, of Gouldbusk, Texas; grandchildren, Clint Nanny of Fort Worth, Shay Nanny of Flower Mound, Dwin Nanny of Valera, Mayce Blackmon of Plano, David Nanny of San Antonio; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Ramel Young of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews.

"Arrangements are under the direction of Wiley Funeral Home of Granbury."
