Appeal Democrat 7/05/1986, Pg. A7 Obituaries Charles W. Adams Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday at 2 p. m. at Hutchison and Carnes Colonial Chapel for lifetime Clipper Mills resident Charles Worden Adams, 88, who died July 3, 1986, at his residence. An Army Veteran, he had been employed for 24 years as a road superintendent for the U. S. Forest Service. He was a member of Forbestown Lodge No. 50 F&AM and had received the Hiram Award from the lodge. He also was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Ben Ali Temple of Sacramento; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9602, Thermalito; the Brownsville Grange; and the Yuba Feather Historical Association of Forbestown. Survivors include his wife, Sally Vance Adams of Clipper Mills; a daughter, Lois McCutcheon of Clipper Mills; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Burial will be in Brownsville Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the funeral chapel. Memorials to the American Heart Fund or a favorite charity are suggested by the family. (B. S.)

( Charles Worden Adams ) Charles Adam Worden ( Charles Worden Adams ), 88, died Thursday at his home in Clipper Mills. He was born Aug. 25 1897, in Clipper Mills and had lived there all his life. Before he retired, he had worked for 24 years for the forestry department. He was a veteran of World War I. He is a member of Forbestown Lodge 50, Free and Accepted Masons; Scottish Rite Bodies and Ben Ali Temple of the shrine, both in Sacramento; Warren Scott Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Brownsville Grange, and the Yuba-Feather Historical Association. He is survived by his wife Sally Worden (Adams) of the home in Clipper Mills; one daughter, Lois McCutcheon, Clipper Mills; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Hutchison and Carnes Colonial Chapel, Marysville. Private burial will be in Brownsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel Sunday and Monday from 3 until 8 p.m. (B. S.)
