He was born on Nov. 1, 1952, in Reed City to Charlie and Helen (Palmer) Beers. He was a 1972 graduate of Evart High School and was employed briefly at Evart Products. He ran Beers' Sewer Cleaning as a side job for many years. He was a caregiver at Hyden AFC home and was also employed by Hopkins AFC home for the last 25 years. He married Brenda Miller on Nov. 14, 2008, in Reed City. He was loved by all. He had a passion for fishing and loved woodworking, coin collecting and watching wildlife. He was a huge Beatles fan as well. He enjoyed gatherings with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Beers; father-in-law. Thomas Miller; and a dog, Sheba.
