Charles W. Brownawell, a well known resident of Bonny Brook, died at 8:15 o'clock Sunday evening at his home, of tuberculosis. He was aged 25 years, and was highly esteemed. His wife, Mrs. Florence Brownawell, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David B. Brownawell, of Alterton, and the following brothers and sisters survive: Harry, Middlesex township; Benjamin, South Middleton; Mrs. F. Derrick, South Dakota; Mrs. Martha E. Clark, Illinois, and Clara, Samuel and George, at home.

Rev. Ira F. Brame officiated at the funeral of C.W. Brownawell, Wednesday, interment at Plainfield. The pallbearers were John Hoover, John Ludt, James Heiser, Elmer Heiser, David Mentzer and John Shoap.
