Services Held Friday for Mrs. Frank Cook
Funeral rites were held Friday afternoon at the Zuver & Calvin chapel for Mrs. Inez Cook, 73, wife of Frank Cook, who died last Wednesday noon at their farm home at Stoughton Corners, just north of Hartford where they had resided the greater part of the time for the past 35 years.
The Rev. Thomas Pollard, Methodist pastor, conducted the services and burial was at Maple Hill cemetery. Casket bearers were F. J. O'Toole, Dean Foster, Edward Beatty and Mat Thar of Hartford, and Edw. Brown and Joe Deane of Kalamazoo.
Mrs. Cook, the former Inez Herrick, was born at Holly, in Oakland county, Michigan, on October 11, 1864. She was married to Frank Cook of Hartford at Vanderbilt, Mich., in May, 1884. She had been in failing health for the past three years.
Besides her husband she is survived by five daughters. They are Mrs. Ila Anderson of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Alice Borst of Benton Harbor, Mrs. Audrey Kinyon of Watervliet, Mrs. Vera Stickney of Hartford and Mrs. Harriet Cleworth of Kalamazoo, and by many friends in this community where she had long resided.
