Born in Glen Cove, NY, February 7, 1958, he was the son of Thomas B. and Eileen Harvey Mast of Delaware Township, NJ. He was a lifelong area resident.
A 1977 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Raritan Township, NJ, Bruce was a thirty-two year member of the Delaware Township Police Department. He retired this month after serving as Chief of the department for the past several years. Additionally he was a member of the Hunterdon County Police Chiefs Association.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Reath Esposito Mast; three children, Samantha, Taylor and Cassidy Mast, all at home; Three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Rev. Kenneth Mast of Mahopac, NY, Richard and Deborah Mast of Prior Lake, MN and Jeffrey and Alicia Mast of Sperry, OK; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Neal and Marie Esposito of Stockton, NJ; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Leigh and Phil Ford of West Amwell Township, NJ; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends, Frank and Susan Emanuele.
