Senecaville--David Edward Parker, 73, of Buffalo died Tuesday evening (Feb. 8) in Guernsey Memorial Hospital at Cambridge after a short illness.

Mr. Parker was a retired coal miner. He was born Dec. 14, 1892 in Jackson County, a son of David and Virginia Howell Parker. He married the former Grace Oney who died about 20 years ago.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Bernice King of Otsego, Mrs. Florence Smith of Phil, Mrs. Grace Sparks of Buffalo and Mrs. Zelma Mayberry of Barnesville; three sons, James Parker of Oregon, Clarence of Cambridge and William of Conesville; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy King of Cambridge, Addie Fogle of Canton and Mrs. Anna Shaffer of Cambridge; two brothers, Isaac Parker of Mansfiled and Clarence of Columbus; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Meek Funeral Home in Senecaville 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buffalo Cemetery.
