MISHAWAKA - Marjorie A. Sare, 83, of Mishawaka, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2011, in her residence. Marjorie was born in Michigan City, IN, on February 11, 1928. Marjorie was raised by Roy (Anna) Johnson. On July 2, 1951, in New Carlisle, IN, she married Robert F. Poskey, who preceded her in death on September 19, 1966. On August 24, 1969, in New Carlisle, IN, she married Kenneth C. Sare, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Vicki (Patrick) Murphy of South Bend; two grandchildren, Shaun (Betsy) Murphy and Christopher (fiancée Jessica Reeder) Murphy; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Aaron and Harold Johnson. Marjorie taught the piano, guitar and accordion all from her home. She was also the music teacher at Galien High School. From 1962 to 1971 Marjorie was the manager for the United Telephone Company in New Carlisle, IN, and also was the credit manager for "Inlander Steinler" Paper Company. She was also employed part-time with Park Jefferson Apartments as a receptionist. Visitation for Marjorie will be held today, December 8, 2011, from 2-8 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will take place on Friday, December 9, 2011, at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City, IN, at noon EST. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
