Daughter of John Dovell (1767-1832) and Mary Lock (1763-1848).
Spouse of William Jones (1811-1856)
Mary and William, along with their family, were part of the William B. Hodgetts' Company. William died of exposure and starvation near Red Buttes, Wyoming and was buried in a shallow grave on the side of the trail on 21 October 1856.
