WILLIAM EUGENE "GENE' YOUNG, 50, of Cocoa, formerly of Falling Rock, W.Va., died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1993, in Wuesthoff Hospital, Rockledge, Fla., after a short illness.

He was a graduate of Clendenin (W.Va.) High School. He was a former employee of Rollyson Volkswagen, Charleston, W.Va., and an employee of Foreign Car Clinic, Melbourne, Fla. He was a member of World Wide Church of God, Melbourne.

Surviving: wife, Joyce Woods Young; sons, Brian and Kevin, of Port St. John, Fla.; daughters, Tammy Young and Michele Gordon, of Cocoa, Debbie Young of Port St. John; mother, Mrs. Virginia Oliver Young of Clendenin; brothers, Darrel R. of Charleston, James C. of Culloden, W.Va.; sister, Ruth Moles of Sissonville, W.Va.; six grandchildren.

Service was Friday at Florida Memorial Funeral Home, North Melbourne. Burial was in Rockledge Memorial Gardens, Rockledge.
