Christianna Brandschett Faunce was born on 12 March, 1845 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Jacob and Mary Hardy Brandschett. She married George Washington Faunce on November 1, 1875. George was employed as a boat builder in Philadelphia. Christianna had three children, William S, Florence, and Mary Susan. She died of chronic nephritis [inflammation of the kidneys] on June 20, 1913, and was buried in Greenmount Cemetery on June 24, 1913.
