RE: BLUE LICK CEMETERY, now located with Memorial Gardens Cemetery, East Lynn/Wayne, Wayne County, WV:
I have been told (by older family members) this Cemetery was "across the road, on the hill, from the former Kiahsville, Wayne Co., WV, post office and Mr. Maynard's store", was referred to as "Blue Lick Cemetery" as it was "near the mouth of Blue Lick Creek/Branch", and that it was also referred to by some as the "Maynard" Cemetery; also told this Cemetery was moved due to construction of the East Lynn Dam and that most, if not all, were re-interred at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, Wayne County, WV. (The Kiahsville, Wayne Co., WV, post office was also moved at the time of East Lynn Dam construction) .. Della 4-15-2020

12-23-2012: "Thank You", Cousin Sherry, for providing photo of the location marker for our Blue Lick Cemetery .. my sincere appreciation .. Della 12-23-2012

12-23-2012: As can be seen from the photo of the location marker, "Blue Lick Cemetery", the Blue Lick Cemetery is located within the grounds of Community Memorial Gardens; thus, correct location being "Blue Lick Cemetery at Community Memorial Gardens", East Lynn/Wayne area of Wayne Co., WV", with Kiahsville, Wayne Co., WV, no longer being the location ... and please let us remember, the location has changed, not the Cemetery name and that these loved ones still sleep in "Blue Lick Cemetery".. Della 12-23-2012

For photo of "Bluelick Cemetery Marker 1840-1968", located within Community Memorial Gardens, please see FAG #90534661, Della (Maynard) Adkins, then click on Blue Lick Cemetery. On the marker, they have shown 'Blue Lick" as one word, should have been two words, Blue Lick .. Della 5-31-2021

NOTE: Even though I've been told the picture of this marker(for my Gr-Gr-Uncle John Perry) was taken at the Ezra Adkins Cemetery, KIAHSVILLE area of Wayne County, WV, I still have questions regarding name of cemetery in which he sleeps - will try to visit the Ezra Adkins Cemetery this summer to confirm .. Della 5-31-2021

He was a brother to my paternal Gr-Grandfather .. Della 5-31-2021
