Uncle Peter Myers, aged 74 years, died suddenly at his home one mile southeast of town Monday morning. He was sick a few days, his disease being a complicated one that carried him off with but little warning. Funeral services were held at his late residence, conducted by Eld. J.W. Jewett, after which the remains were shipped Tuesday evening to Oklahoma City for interment.
