James Thomas Baker Jr. of Raleigh, went peacefully to be with his Lord and his wife Irene early Monday morning November 8, 2010.
Tom was born September 2, 1922 in Youngsville, NC to James Thomas Baker, Sr. and Sallie V. Harris Baker. He graduated from Youngsville High School, Oak Ridge Military Institute, was a veteran of WW II and he was retired from the NCDMV after 40 years of distinguished service. He was the proud father, grandfather and great grandfather of a large family.
A graveside service was held at 11 o'clock Thursday morning, November 11, 2010 at the Harris Family Cemetery in Youngsville with military honors.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife of over 50 wonderful years, Irene and by his sister Sarah Ann Baker.
