Some researchers claim her maiden name was "Brinson" while others say "Clark" or "Davis". Findagrave member Steve Krou #47690059 believes her maiden name was Davis and offers the following:

"There were 2 William Henry Warrens in Laurens [County, GA] both born mid 1850's, one the son of Robert married Eliza E. "Liza" Clark in 1875. The other was the son of William J. Warren and married Elizabeth Davis. (This is Elizabeth Davis) They were cousins, both DNA proven "Poynton" Warrens and my 5th cousins 3 X removed. Documentation: Elizabeth Davis - Marriage Date: 16 Apr 1878, Marriage Place: Laurens, GA, Spouse: Henry Warren. This Elizabeth Davis can also be found in 1860 & 1870 Dublin, Laurens, GA census (where she was born also), 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 Hampton Mill, Laurens, GA census and 1930 Dexter, Laurens, GA Census (1910-1930 she is living with he one and ONLY child, Victoria Warren McDaniels). I had previously confused the 2 families. Eliza Clark Warren died in 1921 MEMORIAL ID 207348891 & the other William Henry Warren died in 1932 MEMORIAL ID 214150677. I'm sure where the false info. came from is the obit. for Mary Elizabeth Warren Davis MEMORIAL ID 201514031 (It states her parents were Walter Warren & Elizabeth Brinson) But she is not in the census with either of these families! William, son of Robert had a brother Thomas W. Warren, who may very well be Thomas Walter Warren & married an Elizabeth Bronson. (working on that next!) Hope this clears things up. Any questions, please ask - Steve Krou
