Ella McCracken age 90 of Scaffold Cane Rd. Berea KY
died Wednesday October 4, 2000 at the Berea Hospital.
Ella is the widow of James Roscoe McCracken and daughter
of the late Morgan and Ida Abney.
Ella is a retired Berea College Laundry employee and a
member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Ella is survived by 3
children: Paul(Ruth)McCracken, Trula(Allen)Legear, and
Barbara(Billy)Wilson all of Berea. 4 sisters: Myrtle Chasteen Adams, Flossie Peters, Evelyn Bullens, and
Eula Abney all of Berea. 3 bothers: Everett Abney and
William Abney both of Berea, and Cecil Abney of Mt.Vernon, KY. 3 grandsons,4 granddaughters,3 great
grandsons, and 5 great granddaughters also survive Ella. 3 brothers Hobert,Elijah and Robert Abney and 2 sisters Annie McCracken and Thelma Phillips also preceded Ella in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Lakes Funeral Home,Berea with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Berea Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday evening after 6:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home, Berea.

Casketbearers for Ella will be grandsons: Gary Wilson, Burton Legear, Glenn McCracken, Baxter Jennings, Michael Carpenter and Chad Legear.

Honorary casketbearers will be the Bethel Baptist Senior Adult Ladies Sunday School Class.
