Graveside services for John R. Finley, 86, of Lufkin, were held at 11 a.m. today at the Whitehouse Cemetery with Bro. Dale Oliver officiating.
Mr. Finley was born Oct. 28, 1907 in Ft. Worth and died Jan. 1, 1994 in Houston. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Finley was a ranch laborer. He had lived in Lufkin since 1964 and prior to that resided in Galveston for over 20 years.
Survivors: brother, Merl Finley of Oklahoma City; sister, Irene Denton of Davis, OK; friend, Mrs. Joyce Horton of Hudson; niece, Lavone Cox of Oklahoma City.
